Dr. Chee Peng Lim received the Ph.D. degree in Intelligent Systems from The University of Sheffield, Sheffield, UK, in 1997. He is currently a Professor at the Department of Computing Technologies, School of Science, Computing and Engineering Technologies, and Swinburne Defence Innovation, Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. His research focuses on Computational Intelligence (CI)-based models and their applications to data mining, risk analysis, and decision support. To date, CP has published over 600 technical papers, edited 10 books, 15 special issues in leading journals, and won 10 best paper awards at international conferences.

Dr. Thanh Thi Nguyen received the Ph.D. degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Monash University, Clayton, VIC, Australia, in 2013. He was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Computer Science, Stanford University, Stanford, CA, USA, in 2015, and the Edge Computing Laboratory, John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Harvard University, Massachusetts, USA, in 2019. He is currently an Associate Professor (Research) at the Department of Data Science & AI, Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University, Clayton, VIC, Australia. He received an Alfred Deakin Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship in 2016, a European–Pacific Partnership for the ICT Expert Exchange Program Award from the European Commission in 2018, and an Australia–India Strategic Research Fund Early- and Mid-Career Fellowship from the Australian Academy of Science in 2020. He has expertise in various areas, including artificial intelligence, deep learning, deep reinforcement learning, cyber security, IoT, and data science.

Dr. Duc Ngoc Minh Dang received the B.Eng and M.Eng degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam, in 2005 and 2007, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from Kyung Hee University, Republic of Korea, in 2014. His research interests include the MAC protocols in Wireless Ad hoc Networks, Vehicular Ad hoc Networks, Deep Learning, and the Internet of Things. From 2005 to 2008, Dr. Duc Ngoc Minh Dang was a Senior Telecom Engineer with TMA Solutions company in Vietnam. He joined Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam, where he worked as Head of the Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Department and Laboratory Head from 2008 to 2011. From 2011 to 2014, he worked as a Ph.D. assistant and a post-doc researcher at Kyung Hee University, Republic of Korea. From 2015 to 2022, he worked as Vice Dean at the School of Graduate Studies, Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam. Since 2022, he has worked as a Lecturer and Researcher at FPT University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He is also a Director of the AI Technology and Application Research Lab at the FPT University, Ho Chi Minh Campus, Vietnam.

Dr. Sy Dzung Nguyen received the M.E. degree in Manufacturing Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Applied Mechanics from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT)–VNU, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2001 and 2011, respectively. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow with Inha University, Incheon, South Korea from 2011 to 2013 and with Incheon National University, Incheon, South Korea from 2015 to 2017. He is currently a Head of Laboratory for Computational Mechatronics (Lab COME), Institute for Computational Science and Artificial Intelligence (COSARI), Van Lang University (VLU), Ho Chi Minh City. He has been the main author of plenty of ISI papers in these fields. His research interests include AI and its applications to nonlinear adaptive control, system identification, and online health management of mechanical structures and machines.

Dr. Li Shen is Professor and Deputy Director of Division of Informatics in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Informatics at the Perelman School of Medicine in the University of Pennsylvania. He serves as the Associate Director for Bioinformatics at the IBI and the Faculty Director of the IBI Bioinformatics Core. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Dartmouth College. His research interests include medical image computing, biomedical informatics, machine learning, network science, imaging genomics, multi-omics and systems biology, Alzheimer’s disease, and big data science in biomedicine. He is a Fellow of AIMBE, a Fellow of ACMI, an incoming Fellow of AMIA, a Distinguished Member of ACM, and a Distinguished Contributor of IEEE Computer Society.

Dr. Duy Duong-Tran is currently a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at The United States Naval Academy (USNA - US Department of Defense). He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Informatics in Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, US, where he was excited to strengthen his research portfolio at Shen Lab headed by Prof. Li Shen. In May 2022, he received his PhD in the School of Industrial Engineering at Purdue University College of Engineering, where he was very fortunate to be advised by Prof. Joaquin Goñi (Head of CONNplexity Lab) during his PhD journey. In addition, his research foundation has also been strengthened by Prof. Mario Dzemidzic (Associate Research Professor of Neurology at Indiana University School of Medicine) and Dr. Alan David Kaplan (Group Leader in Computational Engineering Division at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory - a US Department of Energy National Lab).

Dr. Shu (Simon) Yang obtained his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at the University of British Columbia. He is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Shen Lab headed by Prof. Li Shen. His research interests include computational biology, bioinformatics algorithm, data mining, and machine learning.

Dr. Mustaqeem Khan received his Ph.D. degree in Software Engineering from Sejong University, Seoul, Republic of Korea. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in Computer Vision at Mohamed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) and working as a Research Scientist in the Multimedia Communication Recognition Laboratory (MCRLab). His primary research focus encompasses affective computing, computer vision, emotion recognition, and GenAI. Additionally, his academic pursuits extend to audio/digital signal processing, speech processing, speech synthesis, image and video processing, energy analytics, consumption predictions, and generation. With a notable presence in the academic community, he holds roles as an Associate and Guest Editor and a professional reviewer for esteemed journals and conferences. He is a member of ACM, CTSoc, and Gold Medalist.

Phuong-Nam Tran received his B.Sc. degree in Artificial Intelligence from FPT University, Vietnam, in 2023. From 2021 to 2023, he worked as a Junior AI Engineer at K&G company in Vietnam. During this time, he also served as an AI researcher at the startup Pythera AI, focusing on projects related to natural language processing and computer vision. Following this, he worked as a researcher at the AI Technology and Application Research Lab at FPT University in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, under the supervision of Dr. Duc Ngoc Minh Dang. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Kyung Hee University in the Republic of Korea and is a member of the Networking Intelligence Laboratory, led by Prof. Choong Seon Hong. His research interests include quantum machine learning, federated learning, image segmentation, multi-modal systems, and their applications in biometrics, audio & speech processing, and computer vision.

Phong Nguyen Thanh received a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Ho Chi Minh University of Technology (HUTECH), Vietnam, in 2022. He is currently an Assistant Researcher at the Institute for Computational Science & Artificial Intelligence at Van Lang University, Vietnam. He has authored and co-authored 12 technical papers published in journals and international conferences. His research interests encompass computational hydraulics and hydrology, environmental science, computational fluid dynamics, machine learning, and deep learning.

Anh-Tuan Tran received a B.Eng. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and an M.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2019 and 2021, respectively. Currently, he is a member of Modeling Evolutionary Algorithms Simulation and Artificial Intelligence at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ton Duc Thang University. His areas of interest include power system dynamics, stability and control, energy storage systems, sliding mode control, observer, linear quadratic Gaussian, and optimization algorithms.
